Update: everybody to get enlightened in math class this week
Remember, if somebody turns in Khan Academy assignments late, I have no way of knowing. I need an email in order to know that I should go into Khan Academy and find updated scores. Late work can never be above 80%, and if it’s more than a week late, it’s a zero. Probably best to avoid all that and just do work on time!
What are we up to this week?
Calc III: Normal vectors, binormal vectors, and osculating circles. There were no made-up words in the previous sentence.
Calc II: Logistic models with differential equations, statistics and probability review part 1.
Calc I: Higher order derivatives. We’ll take some time to really nail down the relationship between acceleration, velocity, and position. Bonus: disguised derivatives!
Precalculus: Combining function notation with understanding transformations.
7th grade Scholar’s Prep: Percents, including the dreaded percent change. Also, lots of story problems, so apologies in advance!
Have a good week!
Mr. Hermann
