We’ve got dry erase marker problems. I’m running low, and students are forgetting to bring in their own. These are really the same problem; I’m running low because students who forget them are using mine. Please pester kids about bringing markers! And if anybody has markers to donate, I’d really appreciate it.

If anybody is confused about missing class participation points, here are the most common reasons:
1) Unexcused absence
2) Not using class time to work on math
3) Packing up before the bell rings

I haven’t been taking off points for missing markers, but I probably should. I’ll start that again next week. Fair warning!

Here’s what we’re up to this week:

Calc III: Directional derivatives

Calc II: Tools for determining series convergence (the nth term test, integral test, etc.)

Calc I: Mean Value Theorem, Extreme Value Theorem, extrema.

Precalculus: Rational function end behavior and asymptotes

7th grade Scholar’s Prep: Rates and constants of proportionality
